As in previous years, this year's Sarajevo Business Forum will host large business delegation as well as prominent political and business names from Malaysia. One of the keynote speakers will be TYT Tun Seri Setia Mohad Ali bin Rustam, Governor of State of Melaka. This would be TYT Tun Seri Setia Mohd Ali third attendance on Sarajevo Business Forum, having previously attended as YAB Chief Minister of Melaka and YB Senator of Malaysian Senate.
In addition to Governor, delegation from Melaka will comprise YAB Datuk Seri Utama Haji Sulaiman bin Md Ali, Chief Minister of Melaka State, YB Datuk Seri Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Senior State Minister for Industry, Investment and Entrepreneur Development, YB Datuk Zaidi Bin Johari, State Secretary as well as financial officer, directors, and head of department. Special emphasise will be given to Melaka Waterfront Economic Zone, tourism-based development project of the state of Melaka, which is implementing new integrated features such as international tourism centre, lifestyle-based commercial centre, Smart City, Industrial Revolution 4.0, Marina Logistics Centre, the cultural centre of modern lifestyle and others.
Beside delegation from State of Melaka, Deputy Minister of Finance Malaysia, YB Dato Indira Mohd Shahar Abdullah will lead delegation of 20 entrepreneurs from various government agencies including Human Life Advancement Foundation, Malaysia Franchise Association, Islamic Tourism Centre, MyCretaive Ventures, etc. Malaysian entrepreneurs will present their services and products on second day of SBF 2022 in specially built Malaysian Pavilion at hotel Hills, Ilidža
The panel sessions will also include renowned names from Malaysia business world such us YAM Tunku Zain Al-'Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, Founding President of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), YB Dato Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir, former Chief Minister of Perak and Chairman of Malaysia Airports Holding, YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof, former minister of Entrepreneurship and Chairman of Boustead Holding, YBhg Dato Mohd Razip Hassan, Director General of Islamic Tourism Centre, Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, YBhg Datuk Ahmad Nazim Abdul Rahman, Member of Energy Commission, Ministry Of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia, etc.
The first day of SBF on May 11th will be held in BH Parliament with participation of business and political leaders from the region and the world, while the second day, 12th May, will be allocated for business meetings to connect regional and domestic projects with business partners and investors all over the world. The topic of this year's Sarajevo Business Forum is "Nearshoring - a perspective for the region", and it will present investment projects and business opportunities in manufacturing, agriculture, energy, education, finance, infrastructure, construction, services, tourism, and other sectors.
