Dato’ Dr. Mohmed Razip Hasan is passionate about destination management and marketing. His international outlook and experience in the travel industry, along with a broad exposure to the business cultures of Asia and Europe have shaped his unique approach to tourism development. He has also served in tourism offices in Canada and the United Kingdom and Ireland. As the Director-General of Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC), a body under Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, he oversees the development of Islamic tourism as a key sustainable economic driver. Dato’ Dr. Mohmed Razip holds a PhD in tourism management and a master's degree in business administration specialising in marketing. He also serves as an adjunct professor at one of the leading universities in Malaysia. He enjoys writing and appreciates history, arts, and heritage.
