SBF Workshop held in Gorazde

Great interest amongst businessmen regarding economic potential of SBF 2017

In preparation for the 8th annual International Investment Conference – the Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) 2017, which will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of May in Sarajevo, Bosna Bank International (BBI) continued organizing workshops for companies and individuals interested in developing and presenting projects to foreign investors at this year’s Forum.

Today, BBI held a workshop in Gorazde which was attended by many participants. Even though the awareness about the Forum’s potential has long since existed, several dozen entrepreneurs, businessmen and local representatives showed interest in continuing to establish dynamic collaboration with foreign investors.

Azra Colic, head of BBI’s VIP Business Club stated that “The Gorazde Canton is at the stage of economic expansion. Their economic profitability is increasing and unemployment rates are declining. There is a significant interest amongst local companies in finding lasting business partners, clients and investors and SBF is the ideal opportunity for them to do so. This Canton has a strong industry and is expanding in both the agricultural and tourism sector.”

The President of the Cantonal Chamber of Commerce, Dzevad Terovic, presented attendees with the basic economic indicators in this particular Canton, while representative of BBI showcased the Bank’s influence on the Gorazde Canton through current projects, activities and active financing.

Representatives of BBI, in cooperation with the Federal and Cantonal Chambers of Commerce, will hold workshops in other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to give everyone an opportunity to better prepare themselves for SBF 201. Exact dates and details will be announced in due time.
