Islamic Development Bank President Bandar M. H. Hajjar to attend SBF 2017: Head of Bank with Capital exceeding $ 150 Billion

President of one of the most powerful financial institutions in the world,  Islamic Development Bank (IDB), His Excellency Dr. Bandar M. H. Hajjar will attend this year's Sarajevo Business Forum, confirmed the organizers of the conference which is to be held in Sarajevo on 22 and 23 May.

The high profile guest and an official ofthe institution co-organizing the largest investment event in Southeast Europe will deliver a keynote address at the opening of the conferencetogether with the Director of Bosna Bank International AmerBukvić.

Hajjaris to participate as the representative and head of the largest financial institution of the Islamic world, the Islamic Development Bank whose capital exceeds 150 billion USD. Fifty-seven countries are members of this bank.

President of the Islamic Development Bank is a former minister in the government of Saudi Arabia with an impressive biography.

Prior to taking the post of the president of the IBD whichhas implemented numerous and valuable investment and development projects throughout the world he served as Minister of Hajj and the Minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For 12 years,he was also a member of the Shura, the Saudi Supreme Council, and itsVice President.

He has been active in the field of promotion of human rights ashe was the founder of the Saudi National Society for Human Rights. He holds a PhD ineconomic sciences, and he also worked as the editor of an influential business magazine. In October 2016, he took over as thePresident of the Islamic Development Bank.
