Ibrahim Al Omar, Head of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Confirms His Participation in SBF 2018

Ibrahim Al Omar, Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), confirmed his participation in Sarajevo Business Forum 2018 as the leading investment conference. Governor of the largest investment fund in Saudi Arabia will be accompanied by the delegation of the Ministry of Trade and Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as by leading businessmen from some of the most prominent companies from this country.

The esteemed guest from Saudi Arabia was appointed governor in April last year, after he spent 16 years doing business in the private sector. He is an electrical engineer by vocation and an alumni of the Harvard Leadership Program.

Al Omar will participate in Sarajevo Business Forum as the leading investment conference in the Southeastern Europe which will take place from April 24 to April 27 in the capital of BiH. He is to meet with political and business leaders from the region.

In addition to the SAGIA, Sarajevo Business Forum will be attended by the representatives of the state investment funds from the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Malaysia.

The State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) delegation from the Sultanate of Oman is headed by Mulham Al Jarf as its Chief Investment Officer.

Head of the Malaysian State Investment Fund ''Khazanah Nasional'' is Datuk Mohd Izani bin Ghani, Executive Director of Investments. Khazanah Nasional is one of the most important investment funds in Asia and has shares in 50 multinational companies. The Fund is the leading investor in the field of agriculture, financial industry, telecommunications, transport, healthcare, infrastructure, construction, media, real estate, biotechnology and utility services. The Fund owns large Asian companies which are operating all over the world.
