Cornelia Meyer, economic analyst with the BBC, is the host of this year's Sarajevo Business Forum program

Cornelie Meyer, a distinguished economic analyst and energy expert, business adviser, columnist and media commentator, will be the program host at the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum.
In addition to her reputation in the global business community, Meyer made a name for herself with the general public as an expert on macro-economic issues who appears as a guest on BBC World News show twice a week and offers her analysis of economic trends.
She was born in Switzerland and her brilliant 30-year career includes working as consultant to numerous governments. Among other things, she was hired as a consultant to the Japanese Minister of Foreign Trade, Yoshiro Moria after receiving her PhD from the University of Tokyo.
She worked at some of the most famous international companies from more than 25 countries, including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. She was hired by the global corporations such as the UBS, General Electric, BP, Gasol Plc and others. Since 2008, she has worked as an independent consultant. She is a member of the Global Future Council on Energy of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Oxford Energy Policy Club and the Istanbul Finance Summit Advisory Board.
She wrote articles for the world's most famous daily, The Financial Times, as well as for the prestigious economic magazine The Economist. In addition to the BBC, Cornelia Meyer has appeared on CNN and FOX as an economic analyst, and she currently works as a business columnist at Arab News (arabnews.com), the leading daily in English in the Middle East.
This year's Sarajevo Business Forum will be held on April 25 and 26 and it will play host to numerous delegations and businessmen from all over the world who want to come to the largest business and investment conference in the region which has been organized by Bosna Bank International (BBI) and the Islamic Development Bank IDB) since 2010.
