Leading businessmen from Oman will come to Sarajevo Business Forum 2018
BBI Bank and BBI VIP Business Club organized the visit of businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Oman from February 4 through February 8, as part of the official visit which the Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka paid to its capital Muscat.
On this occasion, Bosnian businessmen held meetings with the representatives of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted by Qais Mohamed Al Yousuf as the new President of the Chamber and Said Saleh Said Al Kayoumi as its former President.
More than 40 representatives of the leading companies from Oman held B2B meeting with the businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina. They were interested in cooperation in the field of oil and gas industry, mining, real estate, manufacturing and processing industry, tourism and food industry, as well as in the opportunities for joint investments.
"The Oman Chamber of Commerce has 336 thousand members and our visit has attracted a great deal of attention. On this occasion, we presented the possibilities of investing in Bosnia and the region of South-Eastern Europe to the members of the Chamber. We also presented natural resources and development opportunities in the field of real estate, energy, agriculture, food industry, tourism and other industries. There is a great interest among the investors from Oman for investing in BiH economy on the basis of its skilled labor force combined with competitive cost structure," said Dino Selimović, Marketing and Communications Director at BBI, on behalf of BBI VIP Business Club, adding that the businessmen from the Sultanate would come to the Sarajevo Business Forum on April 25 and 26 this year.
During the four-day visit, Bosnian businessmen held several meetings with the representatives of institutional investors from Oman and leading businessmen from the private sector.
Among others, the business delegation from BiH, headed by the BBI VIP Business Club, held a meeting with Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, CEO of the State General Reserve Fund, who announced the participation of representatives of this fund in this year's Sarajevo Business Forum. The State Reserve Fund operates as part of the Ministry of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman and runs large national investment projects.
