Applications open for the "Sarajevo Business Bridge Awards 2018"
The leading investment conference in Southeast Europe, The Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF), will award companies and individuals who, through their work, innovative ideas, and youth employment, contributed to the development of entrepreneurship and investments in the region. Winners will be awarded on the 25th of April during the prestigious "Sarajevo Business Bridge Awards."
Awards are being planned in six categories including; New Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Youth Employer of the Year, Social impact Award, and Innovator of the Year.
Awards will be presented on the first day of the 9th annual Sarajevo Business Forum in the presence of international and regional political and business leaders during the formal ceremony held in Bosnian Parliament.
"The Sarajevo Business Forum, as a leading economic platform in the region, aims to build a better business environment in the region. Our main goal is the development of entrepreneurship. Only through networking, market development, and youth employment can we produce positive changes in our society," said Amer Bukvic, CEO of BBI Bank. He also noted that applications for the Bridge Awards will be open from the 20th of January for all regional companies and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding results in business and whose work has had a positive impact on society.
Through recognition and acknowledgement, the Sarajevo Business Forum supports local companies and individuals, especially those who have created new businesses and put emphasis on youth employment.
Traditionally, Bosna Bank International, in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB), organizes the Sarajevo Business Forum.
Patronage of the 9th annual SBF conference is the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers, local governments, the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, the Chambers of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska, as well as many other companies in BiH.
Last year, these prestigious awards were given to outstanding companies and individuals from the region. The award for Social Impact was given to the "Hastor" foundation, MSAN Group was given the award for Youth Employment, Innovator of the Year was given to Gorenje Group and New Business of the Year was given to HUB 387. Lastly, Business of the Year was given to HIFA group for their many economic contributions in 2017.
